  1. Why did the Jewish leaders send also the Herodians to ask Jesus question?

  2. Before they asked Jesus, what were the two characteristics of Jesus mentioned by them? Why did they mention them in advance?

  3. Why was their question a temptation for Jesus?

  4. When Jesus answered, ‘Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's’, what did he mean by that?

  5. Why did Jesus have to add the saying ‘to God the things that are God's’?
